What is Reason to Rent?


We are a new way to shop. Reason to Rent is a way to get that fast fashion fix without treating clothes as disposable (hooray!)




What do you do?


We rent awesome clothes from awesome brands to our subscribers. We take care of the curation, delivery, returns, dry-cleaning and any mending needed. All you need to do is choose your clothes from our online collection, and enjoy.




How do you work with brands?


We work closely with our partner brands, buy wholesale and offer unrivalled marketing and useful insights. If you represent a brand or would like to see a certain brand in our collection, let us know hello@reasontorent.com




How do I sign up?


Click the ‘collection’ button at the top of the site. You can subscribe and we will let you know when we launch.




What is a subscription?


You become a subscriber by paying a fee every month. You can then choose the clothes you’d like to rent and we will send them to you. We have two types of subscriptions. UPDATE and UNLIMITED. UPDATE is £49 per month and allows you to rent 3 items per month. Once your month is up you'll need to pop your items in the return box and send back to us. UNLIMITED is £139 per month and allows you to borrow as many items as you like per month (3 at a time). That’s right, 3 at a time and swap as often as you like.




Can I pause or cancel?


Yes, you can pause or cancel any time. We ask for 1 month’s notice, just send us an email to hello@reasontorent.com




Do I need to be based in the UK?


Yes, upon launch we will offer our service to customers based in; UK mainland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, and Scottish Islands.




What if I don’t like an item or it doesn’t fit?


If an item doesn’t fit please send us an email to hello@reasontorent.com within 24 hours of receiving the item and post it back as soon as possible. We will then replace that item with an alternative size or style if available. Unfortunately after 24 hours we cannot accept returns.




Can I buy an item if I love it?


We will have a sale twice a year when you can get some awesome pre-loved pieces. This will be advertised in advance on our website and via our social media channels.
